Fariborz Moazzam is a founding member of Moazzam & Associates, LLC and a registered patent attorney. Dr. Moazzam has substantial experience in counseling clients in business and IP strategy. He further can prepare and prosecute patent applications in any technology field, from biotechnology to financial institutions to electrical engineering. Prior to founding Moazzam & Associates, LLC in 2004, Dr. Moazzam worked as an attorney, student associate, and patent agent at two major multi-national law firms:
  • Shaw Pittman LLP
  • Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP
  • Before private law practice, he was a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office:
  • Patent Examiner in Art Units 1312 and 1744
  • Reviewed devices, methods and compositions relating to chemical, radiation and medical arts
  • Received the Patent Office’s highest rating for an examiner every year for his entire tenure as a patent examiner
